    FAQ

Here you can find initial answers about budget, timelines, and more.

    • How long does a branding project take?

The timeline for a branding project varies depending on the scope. For a comprehensive brand development, including brand workshops, brand strategy, storytelling, and brand design, you should allow at least 12 weeks. Developing a brand name takes about 4 weeks. The timeline also depends on the feedback processes and structures within the commissioning company.

    • What team setup can I expect?

We are a team of 10 branding specialists. Each project involves either a managing director or a head of department, and there is a dedicated contact person who accompanies the entire project.

    • What team setup makes sense from the company's side?

It makes sense to involve the key people who work with and on the brand. These can be Marketing Managers, Communications Managers, or a Head of Brand. Additionally, for important and far-reaching decisions, it is essential to include the management or individuals with similar authority. In brand workshops, it is often beneficial to involve leaders from HR, Sales, or Product Management.

    • Which modules are needed for a startup to develop a new brand?

We understand that budgets are often limited during the early stages of a startup, and some aspects are still in flux. However, strategically grounded branding is worth the investment: every person, every post, and every presentation should speak the same language to convincingly engage customers and partners in the long term. Prolonging an overly provisional brand image can be detrimental and often leads to more extensive (and expensive) rebranding efforts later on. Therefore, we recommend incorporating the brand from the very beginning. Useful and helpful modules include a brand workshop, Brand Frame®, Brand Story, and Brand Design.

    • What budget should we expect for brand development?

Here again, the budget depends on the scope and complexity of brand development. For brand building or rebranding, a minimum budget of around €30,000 should be allocated.
    • Is a pitch for a branding project worthwhile?

No, a pitch is a presentation of an idea for implementing a specific project. For a substantively sound branding initiative, it’s essential to understand your brand, culture, and products. Instead of a pitch, a branding workshop is more suitable, as it provides greater insights for both clients and the agency compared to a pitch presentation.

    • Branding agency in Berlin for a project in Munich, Basel, Vienna, London?

The branding process can be conducted regardless of location. Brand workshops can be done digitally, but we recommend in-person meetings because they typically foster dynamics and productivity. Meetings and appointments can be held digitally, at the client’s location, or at our offices, as appropriate.
